Initially, I had no idea what Lawless Burger was until I noticed the long lines every day. Naturally, I had to try it out. Here’s my Lawless Burger review.
During the Jakarta Culinary Feastival at Senayan City, I wandered around looking for some tasty bites. On the first day, I noticed a booth that was way busier than the others. It turned out to be the Lawless Burger booth. I decided not to buy anything that day, thinking the crowd might just be a one-day thing.
However, the Lawless Burger booth remained packed for the next three days, so I finally decided to give it a shot.
Price
The long lines at Lawless Burger weren’t due to low prices. The prices were pretty standard for a booth at a major culinary event in Jakarta. They ranged from Rp55,000 (~USD3.5) to Rp80,000 (~USD5), similar to other food booths at the Jakarta Culinary Feastival.
Burger Offerings
At the festival, Lawless Burger showcased two of their signature items: the Sabbath Burger and the Motley Burg.
The Sabbath Burger is a classic, featuring a patty cooked to juicy perfection. It costs Rp55,000 (~USD3.5) for a single and Rp75,000 (~USD4.5) for a double. Then there’s the Motley Burg, which includes bacon and salted egg. It’s a bit pricier, with the single at Rp60,000 (~USD4)and the double at Rp80,000 (~USD5).

Taste
No Lawless Burger review would be complete without discussing the taste. Let’s start with the Sabbath Burger. It’s quite filling, perfect for satisfying hunger. The patty is flavorful, and the cheese and garlic complement it well.
The Motley Burg, with its bacon and patty, is even more filling. However, the bun is quite ordinary and not as soft as other burgers on the market, even compared to McDonald’s.
Conclusion
When it comes to size, Lawless Burger doesn’t disappoint. But taste involves several factors. If you’re particular about the bun, you might not be impressed. However, if you value the freshness of the patty, I definitely recommend trying Lawless Burger.
